GRENSEKONTROLL OG ID-KONTROLL PÅ ALLE STENA LINES FERGER

 

24/36-timers cruise-reise Oslo - Frederikshavn 

Grunnet skjerpet grensekontroll mellom de skandinaviske landene, alle våre reisende ha med seg pass, førerkort eller bankkort med bilde/signatur. Barn under 16 år som reiser sammen med foresatte er unntatt fra dette.

Skal du i land i Danmark må du ha med pass.

Transportreise - reiser til europa

Du som reisende blir bedt om å legitimere deg av transportører ved ombordstigning på fly, tog, buss eller båt, eller ved innsjekking på overnattingssteder. Pass er eneste gyldig reise- og ID-dokument utstedt av norske myndigheter, og bekreftelse på norsk statsborgerskap.

 

På Stena Lines ruter mellom Sverige og Danmark, Sverige og Tyskland, Sverige og Polen  du legitimere deg med pass. Dette gjelder også når du reiser tilbake til Norge fra Danmark. Dette gjelder alle reisende, også barn.

 

OBS! Bankkort med bilde er ikke gyldig ID på Stena Lines ruter mellom Danmark og Sverige.

 

For spørsmål om ID ved organiserte gruppereiser for ungdommer slik som skoleklasser, ungdomsforeninger og ungdoms idrettslag, som skal reise mellom Norge og Danmark og/eller Sverige og Danmark, vennligst kontakt våres gruppeavdeling på: +47 915 02010, velg tastevalg 3 for turoperatører og konferansereiser.

 

Vi minner om at eneste gyldig legitimasjon i utlandet for norske statsborgere er pass.
Det anbefales at du tar med pass på alle utenlandsreiser, også på reiser innenfor Schengen-området..

Information for norwegian citizens

INFORMATION ABOUT BORDER CONTROLS - ID CONTROLS

 

IMPORTANT! Norwegian debit card with picture and signature is only accepted when travelling on 24/36-hour Cruise on the route Oslo - Frederikshavn with Stena Saga. If you leave the ship you must have a passport.
This applies to all passengers, but children under 16 years travelling with parent/parents is exempted and can travel on their parents ID's.

 

All travelers may be asked to show ID when travelling by airplane, bus, boat, or during check-in at accommodations. Passport is the only approved travel- and ID-document issued by the Norwegian government, and confirmation of Norwegian citizenship.

 

24/36-hour cruise between oslo - frederikshavn and TRAVELLING by car to Denmark

On the routes between Oslo - Frederikshavn the identification documents listed below are approved for check-in and travel for citizens within the EU/EEA.
If you are a Norwegian citizen and leave the ship you must have a passport.


For travellers from outside the EU/EEA, passport is the only valid document, this also applies to children.

  • A valid passport with MRZ code
  • National identity card of EU Standard, containing MRZ code or chip, issued by a national authority within the EU/EEA
  • For Nordic citizens, it is valid with a driving license issued in a Nordic country

 

OBS! Bank cards with phot is not a vailid ID on our routs between Denmark and Sweden.

 

This applies to all passengers but children under 16 years traveling with parent/parents is excepted and can travel on their parents IDs.

INFORMATION ABOUT BORDER CONTROLS - ID CONTROLS

Due to stricter border control between the Scandinavian countries, all our travellers are required to bring a passport.

 

On Stena Line's routes between the Nordic countries

On the routes between Denmark and Sweden and Denmark and Norway, the identification documents listed below are approved for check-in and travel for citizens within the EU/EEA. For travellers from outside the EU/EEA, passport is the only valid document, this also applies to children.

  • A valid passport with MRZ code
  • National identity card of EU Standard, containing MRZ code or chip, issued by a national authority within the EU/EEA
  • For Nordic citizens, it is valid with a driving license issued in a Nordic country

ON STENA LINE’S ROUTES TO AND FROM THE CONTINENT - EU COUNTRIES

On the routes between Germany and Sweden, Poland and Sweden, Latvia and Sweden and Germany and Latvia the id document listed below are approved for check-in.

  • Passport with MRZ code
  • National identity card of EU Standard, containing MRZ code or chip, issued by an national authority within the EU/EEA
  •  

This applies to all passengers, including children.

Please note!

The rules above are Stena Lines general rules applied to what documentation is mandatory when travelling on our ferries to and from Sweden, Denmark and Norway.
Before the trip it is the customer’s responsibility check which documentation is needed for the country he or she is travelling to.
If in doubt bring you passport.
